The performance is being the first and central one of the big project “John Donne”. It is a one-act metaphysical ballet in a genre of a paper mystery. The performance is based on one of five big poems of Joseph Brodsky «The Big elegy to John Donne».
How to describe something that happens in a dream? Is it possible to find explanation to the dream itself as an action or a concept? If yes, how does it correspond to the reality? And can a person at least know how it is in the reality? And everyone sees only what he sees…
Houses, birds, movements, sounds, images, words, aesthetics of the paper mystery, philosophy of everlasting sketch, play, poetry and music as they are – all these are pieces of one big mosaic madly interesting to bring together. And doing this we crave for something very simple. For something, about what, as we think, Brodsky is in poetry, Bach in music and Bosch in painting…
