A project based on the principle of the stream laboratory, created for the research of polyphonic landscape play. The principle of this play differs from the principle of stepwise action, logically accumulated energy. Here the action happens in conditions.
Faust unrolls the whole Universe from a point inside one person in his own internal theater.
It is not a play where we have conditionality of actors and audience. It is the action which unpacks all the integrity of what is going on in this very moment with all the person’s background, relationships, themes and questions inside of him. Each time the new Universe receives its birth from the point with its devils, witches, mefistoes, gods, myths and special type of sound and perception. And here the audience becomes a part of the common mystery, centrifuge, appearing and vanishing space.It is a stream movement from which sound and images appear. Sound in this case is the integral part of the action. The Laboratory in terms of the project researches sound being born from different surfaces, subjects, voice, instruments, and possibilities of the sound’s appearance and display. The discovered images stay only on the fragile surface of the glass and acquire colors in the collection of a thousand stained-glass windows which display the story of Faust.
